My work with Birmingham Royal Ballet began during my final year of my degree study and I now maintain a close relationship with them. My time at university concluded with an expansive project delving into Ballet photography and what it takes to become a professional dancer.

Documentary photography for me is a solitary art-form, through which I observe but don't engage. However, I never feel more connected and present within my work and within the world then when I have photographed morning class. I feel as if I have been swept up in something magical.  A sense of community and creativity that gives me hope.
